Orally? HOw'd they get them to eat/drink it? I forgot .. I have the study somewhere in the tons of materials here in my office .. but I do remember that it was NOT oral. > And what was the % of oregano to olive oil? Forgot the exact percentage .. but I do remember it was VERY LOW .. below 5%. > Interesting study. Yes it is .. and it has been taken seriously in Europe. Professor Baser has presented it in a number of forums. I would bet a purty that many European scientists are working in that direction now .. I just haven't had the time or desire to research it. I got this study once when I was visiting the professor .. shortly after it was conducted. At that time it had not yet been published so I had to sit on it for a while .. but by the time the Canadian shindig came along it had been and he gave me permission to present it. > Since having children, whenever one of them picks up one of those cold > virus's, I would always get it, too....what am i supposed to do...stop > kissing my kids cuz they're sick? Good show Christy .. there is no doubt in the minds of hundreds (or is it thousands?) of folks I know that the Origanums are Big Bad Bug Butt Kickers extraordinary. I've written dozens of testimonials on it and I continue to see it as my personal choice of self medication. > Christy > p.s. I'm not a M.D., and am not recommending to taking eo's > internally!! Damn! And all this time I thought you were a medical doctor. ;-p One don't gotta recommend anything .. and one don't gotta take Oregano internally. Sniffing it is VERY effective. And lemme tell you what - a drop of three of Oregano EO in a nice soup makes the soup taste a whole lot better. Might consider a shake or two of Black Pepper and maybe even a little Garlic .. and of course, I ain't never seen a soup don't taste better with a squeeze of Lemon juice in it. That is not about taking Oregano internally .. its about cooking and such. ;-) Y'all keep smiling. :-) Butch http://www.AV-AT.com
