OT: PCs ** Was - How to Best Heal??

Good for you .. I still hate'em. ;-p My son is an IBM Systems Engineer

and when I visited him during the last trip he was all excited about a

buncha new things he had done in the wireless arena. We're sitting at

the table and I'm scratching my head cause I don't speak Swahili but my

little princess granddaughter, Alexandria, (age 6) is discussing all the

stuff with him like they were talking about play dough.

I never used a PC till late 1994 .. always had secretaries who did this

and I knew they had to be real smart folks. I stuck to my trusty old

IBM Selectric Typewriter back then .. but in 1995, after completing a 5

year contract with Brown & Root Engineering, I decided to take the first

vacation of my life .. for a whole year. Bought a PC I did and after a

short time (well, it was a couple'a weeks) I learned how to turn it on

and off. By the end of that year I knew how to send an email .. and

that's about where I am now .. cept'in I send mebbe 100 or so emails a

day now.

Good for you .. got college kids here in Turkey look after mine .. but I

haven't yet figgered out how to fix .

That's all I can do .. imagine. By the way, what is Photoshop? ;-)
