Well, I know this is not my 'fight', but I like what Jen has and had to say.

MSM is NOT the 3rd most important element next to air and water. Air is not

a mineral as I recall and water is animal, vegetable and mineral. [we played

20 questions a LOT when I was a kid and a 'well' was the funnest] {most fun

for those who want it correctly} :))

msm is a derivative of dmso. Dr. Jacob ran into the politics of it all back

when and couldn't get a patent on it, so he developed msm. Which is from

tree wood. Has a ton of lignans in it. For those who do scrapbooking,

'lignan free' means no acids. The reason msm was developed was the patent

thing and also to take out the 'objectionable to some' smell of garlic that

would come thru the breath when it was applied wherever. Mostly it was the

patent deal. If a company can isolate some particular part of a plant, they

can patent it and try to steal money from other peoples. Case in point, the

USA people trying to patent neem when it's been used for hundreds of

thousands of years in India. So the good ole boys isolate something from it

and call it 'theirs'.

msm is destroyed by cooking, so the 'small' amt found in most foods is gone

by the time we eat it. eggs, nuts, milk.

and I love Jen's comment about horses eating all that grass. :)

I see there are more thinking people on this list than are on many other

lists. I'm glad.

msm is not a cure all, and you Russ, did not cure *anyone*. Unless of

course, you are a medical doctor and can back up that claim to suit the FDA.

Or maybe you are God?

And don't get your panties in knot because people think for themselves and

don't take everyone's word for 'it'.

Lymph massage is lightly stroking the skin and if you get a massage you are

getting lymph massage. Excercise of any form is good for the body as it

moves the lymph around, as the lymph cannot move on its' own, but needs to

be pushed. So *any* movement, rebounders, bikes, throwing the ball for the

dog, washing dishes, going to the bathroom is gonna help. pushing yourself

around in a wheelchair is gonna help.

There are no cure-alls, if there were, no one would be sick. And that's

doubly true for dmso, msm, seabuckthorn, lavender eo, and whatever else I

can't think of right now. Everything probably helps many people a lot.

Because we are so stinking deficient in so many things, ANYthing would be

helpful.

but honey, whenever you shove something down someone's throat and they start

gagging on it, it's a good idea to back off and see if they need help in

swallowing it [more gentle info] or they know it's something they can't

swallow because they may have more info than you.

And just because a person reads something, doesn't make them an expert.

Years of experience along with book knowledge, now, in my book that makes

someone an expert. [expert= a little drip under pressure] And there are tons

of self made experts around, but they aren't worth their salt. And there's

always new data coming out about things. And nothing is 'valuable' unless it

is to the person reading/keeping/eating/doing it.

I'm workin my way to becoming an expert on seabuckthorn seed oil and lesser

on berry, but it's gonna take a while. Still, I know a heck of a lot more

than the better than average joe on it, and I'm still such a neophyte with

it.

I do experiments with it and so do others, but I have *never* cured anyone,

and most likely never will. However, I and others have had things healed

because of using it.

Jen is an expert on animals.

I guess all this means, 'you get more flies with honey than with vinegar'

and don't start taking potshots at one of us. While we may be [may be???

lol] catty sometimes with each other, 'some' of us close ranks when it comes

to someone being a rat to the lot of us/our intelligence. And since this

list is mostly women, it's not good for your business to start being mean at

the git-go.

Hey, I said it was LONG in the subject line!

off to bed,
