hey Butch, it was about heating eo's more than diffusing them.

what say you about heating eo's?

that vertigo lasted something like three days or 4. i couldn't even get up

to go pee at the end.

i think i'll go back to bed. it's a rainy day, should be ok. apparently i

put the phone from the last telemarketer on 'hold' instead of hanging up the

phone.

i've got oregano in the steaming pot of water on the stove. leastways I know

it's good for me, even if it isn't the most romantic smell in the world. lol

Hey Janine,

Not sure of the subject cause I either zapped it or never got it in the

second place (not unusual) .. but I think its about whut do folks think

about this and that diffuser. I have no opinion on it .. nor do I have

a diffuser. Always before one of ladies working here would be pregnant.

Seems like they took turns .. afore you reply .. I had NOTHING a'tall to

do with that. And even though I was 1,000% certain it would do them no

harm .. I didn't want to risk the liability cause they had just enough

fear to possibly blame me if something went wrong. Where did they get

that fear? One was an Aussie Turk who knew enough about AT to be

dangerous .. she told the others all wild tales about pregnant wimmens

and EOs .. so when one became pregnant I forbade them to enter the room

where we keep EOs .. it was purely CYA but considering Turkish liability

laws when applied to foreign perpetrators and Turkish victims, I didn't

want to take the risk.

Why I don't have one in my home .. cause I'm rarely there and when I am

its to read and sleep. I made one for my home using a brass shepherds

lantern .. and I sometimes read whilst wearing one of my Turkish cotton

robes with a drop or three of this or that EO on the lower lapel.

The ladies in ANVIL (in Maryland) have a couple of diffusers but damned

if I can tell when they're working cause the whole store smells like a

combo of EO anyway.

For sure it was the illness .. not the EO. There's lots of reasons for

temporary vertigo. Some of you been around a while remember Bade, who

worked here for years .. had a bad traffic accident .. 7 months in the

hospital. When she returned to work she had bouts with vertigo on and

off for a couple of years. Then it went away .. never came back.

I've had temporary vertigo after pushing the borderline of a Dive Table

... depth vs time. It would last only a couple of hours. As one folk

touched on in another post, it has to do with ears/balance and such and

can even be brought on by sinus problems .. which Eucalyptus globulus

and Rosemary, Cineole (R. officinalis) would help instead of cause.
