Dear Ones,

Its been awhile since I posted but I have a question I need help

with. My son is 28yrs old. He has been acting tired and depressed

for some time now. I finally got him to go to MD for some help. They

did blood tests the results were that his ldl was 107 but his hdl was

31 and he has high blood pressure. They sarted him on a prescription

called niaspan back in May/June. I am worried cause he acts so tired

and depressed. I don't want to see him on drugs that can be

addictive, but I want the guy that likes to live and laugh and tease back.

I went looking at old messages too see if anyone else had this

question and Dr Wm drews name came up but couldn't find more info

please help!!

Thanks in advance, Kim

Hi,

Some words of encouragement for your son.

I hace a genetic condition which " screws up " my lipids. I have been on

medication since my mid 30's (now 73). In particular, my HDL's have

always been very low & reducing my cholesterol, also reduces my HDL.

I have found that the only way to get my HDL in the proper range is to

combine regular exercise with drugs & diet. The exercise combined with

low levels of medication works much better than increasing the

medication dosage. I find that the regular exercise also helps with

depression.

Nothing really new here, just a reaffirmation of the benefits of using

all the tools available for managing health problems.

Dear Kim,

The Total Nutrition Recipe, The Panther Piss Remedy, and extra Garlic should straighten him out if you add to this an excellent diet. Check the Files on all of the above and git yerself busy making th' stuff ;-)
