Guest guest
Hi All- Well, the doctor now thinks that the crazy " viral rash " that I had for over 6 weeks is actually eczema. It is getting very painful and I was prescribed a super steriod cream, which is $30 a tube. Applying the cream to all the affected areas uses almost a third of it...so this is going to be really costly. I have been reading Susan S. Weed's book 'Healing Wise' and was considering beginning daily infusions of Burdock - not only for my skin, but also for some of the other qualities of it. I was also thinking about starting to take nightly oatmeal baths. Does anyone have any better ideas? Or does this sound like an effective plan? ~Devi~
Guest guest
I just joined the group,so I hope I am following the guidelines. My granddaughter is 6, and she has had eczema since before she could walk. The Dr. put her on steroid cream to help clear up the worst case he had ever seen. But my daughter wouldn't apply it for long, as she was afraid of doing so. She has been on many creams from the Dr. But she never got much relief until we found Biolanyn on the internet. Julia in Mo ps she was covered from her scalp down to her toes. - prana_devi herbal remedies Wednesday, September 21, 2005 3:23 PM Herbal Remedies - Eczema Remedy? Guest guest
Hey, Devi, I wanted to suggest you do a google search for the terms eczema biotin I found some good info on them, (and other natural things for eczema), but rather than post a commercial site, I'll let you find it.. biotin is a B vitamin. I gave some to my son for some sort of skin thing he had, and it seemed to help.
