Guest guest
ok, Doc, or anyone else who might really know, I just need to know if some of the formulas are safe for pregnancy. I am assuming the total nutrition is not only safe, but required. I am also guessing that panther piss is ok, but less sure as this helps cleanse toxins and if ther are toxins they get dumped into the baby. I did do a major cleanse a little while ago, but I know that my body was in a toxic enough state that I might not have gotten out all of the toxins. The one that I really don't know is black walnut hull tincture (which part of the hulls do I use? my sis has a black walnut tree so I can get them straight from the source, but do I use the dry hull or the hull with the green skin over it? ) I really could use it, but I won't do anything that has even the slightest possibility of hurting my baby. I just need to know what I can use. Thanks so much Ramona
Guest guest
Dear Ramona, It depends on which trimester you're currently in. You wanna stay away from the Intestinal Cleanse #1 and those herbs which are in it which also includes Black Walnut Hulls if you're in your first trimester. This also goes for any of the Blood Detox Herbs as well. There are a few others but I doubt if you'd have those as they are a bit esoteric and not the normal herbs you see bandied about on HR. If you are in your second or third trimester, you could start off using those herbs on a gradient scale. At the first sign of having a convulsive like bowel movement, I'd quit and wait another month before trying those kinds of cleanses. This is where working with a pro comes in handy Hope this helps. Guest guest
Dear Ramona, You should be on the Total Nutrition Formula ONLY!!! Wait until you get into your second trimester or your third before you start any "gentle" cleansing. Much love, Doc Doc Shillington727-447-5282Doc - ramona herbal remedies Friday, September 23, 2005 11:19 AM Re: Herbal Remedies - safe in pregnancy? I am pretty early in my first trimester, and I have an extreme history ofmiscarriage due to a hormonal imbalence. I have tried to cleanse and balencemy hormones, but for obvious reasons I am hyper sensitive to anything that maycause a problem. I know that I have thyroid issues, and I am really tired andexausted all the time which is why I wanted to do the total nutrition. Anything that will help my body produce more progesterone is to be desired too.RamonaQuoting "Dr. Ian Shillington" <DocShillington:> Dear Ramona,>> It depends on which trimester you're currently in.>> You wanna stay away from the Intestinal Cleanse #1 and those herbs which are> in it which also includes Black Walnut Hulls if you're in your first> trimester.
