Celery Juice?

There was a mention of celery juice being good for the heart...how do you make this juice?

You need a juicer. It's a kitchen appliance that extracts the juice and discard the pulp into a separate container. I know of no other way of making raw vegetable juices. It's a "must have" in my life. I have a Juiceman juicer. You put the vegetables or fruit in the hopper and juice comes out the spout. I love it!!! I would also add that I would never drink celery juice "straight". It's very strong tasting and can be bitter and overwhelming. I'd throw a few carrots in the juicer with it to improve the flavor.

Put it in a juicing machine. If you have a hard time sleeping clery juice is great for that too.

Gloria,

I love plain celery juice, but I will add carrots, kale, and sometimes beets. I like celery juice better than carrot juice.

If you have a Champion Juicer it would be good. My neice has loaned me her Champion Juicer for the time being, and it is wonderful. I believe she has had it for like 8 years. It is on the expensive side, but well worth the money. I believe she paid like $400.00 for it, but its got a 5 year warrenty on it if anything goes wrong.Gina Kopera <ginakopera1 wrote:

Note: One of the reasons Celery is so good for us is that Celery is

a " natural Diuretic with over 5 TYPES OF NATURAL-BENEFICIAL SALTS. "

(ps don't let the word " Salts " throw-you; some Nutrients r " salts " .)

You can find Champion juicer on-line for under $200. I purchased mine in September for $185 which included the shipping. This is the home model not the commercial one.
