Guest guest
Hi Marci, I have copied and pasted this from the past post in this website - I forgot the digest number - so my apologies!! Underarm odor Get your self enough unpasturized organic apple juice so you have 1 gallon a day and enough distilled water for the same amount. What you wish to do is first thing in the AM drink 16 ounces of prune juice. Take 1 or 2 tablespoons of organic cold pressed olive oil three time a day for lubrication. 1/2 hour after drinking the prune juice drink and thoroughly chew an 8 ounce glass of the apple juice. 1/2 later drink 8 ounces of distilled water. Keep this up alternating apple juice and distilled water at 30 minute intervals until you have consumed 1 gallon of apple juice and 1 gallon of distilled water. Do not eat anything during the day while doing this. If you are hungry towards evening take an apple and chew it thoroughly. If you become constipated during this fast drink more prune juice. On the fourth day begin taking fresh vegetable juices and other fruit juices and eat fresh fruits and vegetables. No matter what do not be afraid to continue with this fast for longer periods if you wish. This will clean out your lymph system and get rid of a lot of toxins in the process. I have done this fast twice and am about to do it again for a two week fast. My last one was for 6 days. I felt great during and after the fast. As for the prune juice, the purpose of the prune juice, besides the obvious, is to draw the toxins from all parts of the body into the colon so they can be gotten rid of. You may also use Doc's Intestinal Cleanse #1 along with it but the prune juice is very important. You might also consider doing The liver, bowel, kidney and total body cleanses that are in the files as well. These will aid greatly in speeding up the process of toxin removal. But the mucus takes time. Start drinking your water with some fresh squeezed lemon in it as this will facilitate removal of the mucus from the cellular level but still will take time. Along with the other remedies....you may want to try an essential oil such as Juniper (that's the one that I can think of currently, and it's probably the best one, but I'll look up others). Juniper is detoxifying for nearly all the body's systems, including the lymphatic. Make a rather strong blend of Juniper and a carrier oil. I would go with an astringent carrier oil, such as Hazelnut, but any will due. While in the shower, massage the areas of your lymph nodes...under your armpits, groin area, neck (all around), etc. Massaging the lymph nodes alone helps them drain. Juniper smells good too, so it might help temporarily with the odor problem. I also have become a huge fan of apple cider vinegar. It is literally good for all that ails you. Instead of talcum powder, try arrowroot... There probably is some toxins being removed through the skin. You might want to add some epsom and/or sea salt to your bath to help draw this stuff out. Another possibility is you may want to do a liver cleanse, cause bad stuff builds up in there over the years. herbal remedies , " Marci " <twilli55@t...> wrote: > > I just wanted to ask so here goes...I am doing an herbal cleanse and > the last couple weeks, the " odor " that comes from my armpits is > absolutely HORRENDOUS!!!!! Guest guest
Hey Lisa... How have you been? I have to jump in here cuz I have been bothered with the same thing but with a unique spin... when i first started cleaning up and went all raw i had no body odor at all. I went thru all the cleanses, cleaned out the bad foods from the pantry went all organic and just recently about a month ago started eating cooked foods again. well immediately i noticed the awful armpit odor... just gross! smells like you rubbed strong raw onion on your skin.... but from only one armpit! my left... why is that do you think?? i have pondered this long and hard and i wonder if my lymph glands were damaged by cat scratch fever. I have had 2 near deadly bouts and the nodes in my armpits were extremely swollen and i wonder if there was damage done. what do you think? as i dont use commercial deoderant any longer this has become a burden. i use mineral salt, but that doesnt last long with this industrial strength odor... so i have taken to carrying a small bottle of my almond oil/lemon peel with me and applying as needed...which is frequent! this is the only thing i have found to help. any suggestions or thoughts would be awesome. i couldnt help but laugh at the post on this cuz im sitting here enjoying coffee and the smell is coming on strong... no way im giving up the coffee though. hahaha! Guest guest
It would seem logical that if it were your lymph glands, then you should have had the smell all along? From what you say, the change is co-incident with you going back to cooked foods. Is there anything you are eating then which could be causing this reaction? Are all your foods still organic? hmmm, is your coffee organic?? Are you back on dairy products perhaps where you weren't before? Check out exactly what changes you made when you stopped eating raw. love Lisa - spotspace herbal remedies Saturday, November 26, 2005 7:13 PM Re: Herbal Remedies - Cleansing and Odor Hey Lisa... Guest guest
Hi Spot Actually, for the first time ever, I had that EXACT SAME THING happen to me--ALL summer!! Started in May, and lasted until September, which is FINALLY when it starts to dip below 100 degrees here. Same side, too--just my left! Didn't matter how many times I applied my (decent-working chemical-free deodrant). I even sprinkled some essential oils down my shirt, and by the end of the day even THEY didn't have as much effect! I noticed it go down with the abating of the Texas heat, however. I know that heat raises the acidity in the body slightly. I already know I was acidic inside; I felt it. I tried to eat as balancing a diet as possible. I stuck with whole grains, soaked beans, steamed or raw veggies, and fruits. It subsided slightly when I cut out all animal flesh (which also contributes to an acidic pH). But it didn't go away completely. Not till the temperature died down. I did also, during that time, increase my intake of (reverse osmosis) water to 2.2 liters per day, though (which is about a half-gallon, which is appropriate for someone my weight, which is 128.) I imagine the water had something to do with it, as I was drinking barely ANY liquid before that. We'll have to see what next summer holds! Hope I was of at least some help! Blessings, --Jyoti well immediately i noticed the > > awful armpit odor... just gross! smells like you rubbed strong > raw > > onion on your skin.... but from only one armpit! my left... why > is > > that do you think?? i have pondered this long and hard and i > wonder > > if my lymph glands were damaged by cat scratch fever. Guest guest
Jyoti.... well it is nice to know someone else shares this bizarre phenomenon! I live in Michigan so the heat isnt an issue. Im from the south and Michiganders dont know what hot is! haha... i definately noticed the difference with cooked food/meat consumption. the oil doesnt help greatly but anything is better than the odor. I wonder.. i started using greater doses of Vitamin C about 6 weeks ago, perhaps i need to look at that. I wont give up the C as it has flushed fat from my body like crazy but i will definately take a look. im going to try the BF & C oil on the ole armpits and see if that helps. I will let ya know!
