Guest guest
My husband used to have a horrible problem with drinking somewhere around 20 Cokes a day. Eventually, he was having heart flutters and the doctor told him to get stop drinking the Coke. He switched to Diet Coke and drinks only a few a day now, but he gets a lot of headaches and I try to tell him it is from the aspartame, which is bad for you all the way around. I used to be addicted to Excedrin, taking almost 12 a day for several years. The way I stopped, was I would take one less everyday for a week. The hardest for me was when I got down to one or two Excedin a day. I ended substituing the Excedrin for sugar cubes, so now I don't need either. Your sister may want to try drinking one less Diet Coke a day and then substitute a herbal tea or fruit juice to make up for the Diet Coke. Diet Coke is just bad for you. She will experience withdrawl hedaches from the caffeine is she stops cold turkey, and they are not pleasant, so it is best to stop slowly. Betty S.
