Guest guest
Hello Kathy, If I'm not mistaken, I believe that cherry juice, lots of it, is good for gout. You should be able to find jarred, organic cherry juice in the grocery store's organic/natural section. Debra

You can get celery seed tablets in the health food stores very inexpensively! I do not have personal experience with gout either, this is info I lerned from Dr. James Duke, and I highly respect that man! If you want more info, then you can usually get his books for a very reasonable price on ebay. He also has a phytochemical and ethnobotanical database that is bar-none. Guest guest
hmmmm , as to gout ... for a little while i have been researching fibromyalgia and cronic myofacial pain syndrome . i have several clients who have fibro , for whose benefit i am digging deeper . one book i would recomend on this subject is devin starlanyl , md and mary ellen copeland , ms, ma book .. fibromyalgia and cronic pain syndrome -- a siurvival manual . EXCELLENT book !!!! among their suugested healing tools is guaifenesin , which is a common ingredient in OTC cold medicine . in this chapter they tell the story of a dr r paul st amand , an endocrinologist and how he discovered the benefits of guaifenesin for gout , rheumatism and ultimately for fibromyalgia . his findings where that gout deposits were actually phosphoric acid deposits , which can be eliminated by taking guaifenesin . point i am trying to make , it might be helpful for the person with the gout to do a body cleansing that would rid the body of phosphoric acid , which is the root cause for gout . if you would like more information about the findings of dr st amand , i would highly recommend this book . the chapter of guaifenesin is worth the price of the book alone . gab in fl Version: 7.1.362 / Virus Database: 267.13.10/188 - Release 11/29/2005
