Thanks for the advice,

I have read many horror stories about mixing st. johns with other

antidepresants so that is out for a while. I was taking lexapro and

my doc says it will take up to three months for it to completly

leave my system! That's a long time darn it.

I also had a drug addiction at a young age and was able to quit cold

turkey. as you mention; life changing events can give you alot of

strength. My drive is there that isn't the issue. I was warned by

my doc that going cold turkey could cause siezures and i can see

how. I'm going on two weeks now of no meds, weaned myself off slow

but i am experiencing almost a light shocking feeling in my body at

times. I'm not sure how to really explain the sensation.

I think i'm at a point now where i can start a detox program and am

hoping by doing so these strange sensations will go away.

Emotionally i'm doing well it's the darn physical aspect. I'll dig

around in the files here and see if i can come up with an easy

inexpensive detox.

oh i have tried the fish oil before but the burps were not

tolerable. I think that one is out unless there is a way to prevent

the after taste.

be well

Hey Red Feather!

I take cod liver oil daily and found that if you keep it in the freezer and take the pearl frozen with a meal = no burps.

Fish oil does keep my cholesterol and triglycerides down.

I also take an acid blocker for my GERD.
