Guest guest
Hi, I'm new to the group, and was wondering if anybody has any ideas on herbs to use to dissolve the tophi in joints. I have chronic gout and have been on 300mg of allopurinol a day for years. I have large tophi built up in my left elbow. It was operated on once. The Doctor is reluctant to operate on it again to remove the tophi. He wants to see if it will eventually dissolve on it's own. I currently take several tablespoons of organic apple cider each day. Haven't really seen any difference. I've been taking it for the past year. I'm wondering if there is something more I could do, maybe something applied directly to the elbow? I would welcome any suggestions on this. Thank You, Rick
Guest guest
hey rick, i'm kinda new to all of this, but my father suffers from gout as well and he eats cherries or something containing cherries whenever it bothers him, with considerable success...you might give it a go. mathewrhb8134 <rhb8134 wrote: Hi, I'm new to the group, and was wondering if anybody has any ideas onherbs to use to dissolve the tophi in joints.
