Rick,

I believe that organic cherry juice is supposed to work wonders. I would also take fresh pineapple or bromalaine (sp) capsules. The pineapple has an enzyme that will break up that crystalized material in the area. Also look in the files, I think there is a bone or joint remedy that is applied topically, which if you massage the area rugularly may help break up stuff (scientific jargin) and increase circulation.

Herbal Remedies - Gouty Tophi in elbow

Hi, I'm new to the group, and was wondering if anybody has any ideas onherbs to use to dissolve the tophi in joints. I have chronic gout and have been on 300mg of allopurinol a day for years. I have large tophibuilt up in my left elbow. It was operated on once. The Doctor is reluctant to operate on it again to remove the tophi. He wantsto see if it will eventually dissolve on it's own. I currently take several tablespoons of organic apple cider each day. Haven'treally seen any difference. I've been taking it for the past year. I'm wondering if there is something more I could do, maybe something applied directly to the elbow? I would welcome any suggestions on this.Thank You,Rick

Debra,

Thanks for the info. I have tryed the cherries with no

success and also I failed to mention that I also am

taking celery seed, quercetin and bromelian daily. I'm

not giving up, but there has

got to be something out there with more kick to it.

Thanks,

Rick

Thank you, for responding to my email. I've never

heard of

this diet, but would be interested in finding out more

info.

on it. If you have any references about it, I would

definitely

appreciate it.

Thank You,

Rick
