Elderberries grow on a canes like raspberries and it only takes two or

three years for them to mature. They are really easy to grow. Just

plant them and let them go. They are winter hardy too. They grow

wild here in Iowa now too, although I don't know if they are

indigenous or not.

I think that the reason elderberries are so good for you is that they

are tremendously high in vitamin C.

yeah, I was thinking of some other fruit

and grows on huge trees...but they're

berries. Can't think of it now. I think

I'll just keep buying it. I can get it

for about what cough syrup costs.

Type "elderberry plants" into GOOGLE

and you'll probably get all kinds of

nursery results that do mail order.

Yup I think so. Never eaten them so have

no idea what they're like. I am still hoping someone will develop a seedless

raspberry. I love raspberries but hate the

seeds that get stuck in your teeth. I buy

seedless raspberry jam but it is spendy.
