Guest guest
Hello everyone, I have been meaning to post about this when the topic came up, but I am usually too overwhelmed with everything else all I can do is keep up with reading everything. I am a BIG believer in CS. As was said, not all CS is the same. I first started back in '99. We made it ourself with a small generator. The 3 nine volt type. Well, that stuff we made was GOOD. I of course do not know the ppm we made, but it worked. We would drink a big glass of it everyday or every other day. It gave us just a good feeling, more energy etc. If we were feeling under the weather a shot of CS made all the difference. I was even more please with the results I got using it topically. I gave the neighbor girl some for her cold sores. She kept coming back for more whenever she had a breakout. I put a couple drops in my daughters ear when she had an " ear infection " she woke up good as new. I would use it on cuts, burns anything. It replaced the neosporin and cold medicine. I couldn't have been happier. My boyfriend at the time gave some to a friend suffering from " lyme disease " and he said that was the only thing that helped him!! Well fast forward a few years..... the bf and I split up, but he let me keep my generator, but after a while it just quit working. The light didn't glow as bright and my silver rods were getting all bent up. So I contacted the company for replacement wires they sent me some, but they were not the right size and I got them all bent up right away. The generator didn't seem to have any more power. BTW these things are supposed to last forever. Well I tried working on the thing to no avail. So I started buying the already made stuff from the vitamin companies. Well, I swear that stuff is just expensive water. I saw no improvement. So I gave up on it. The silver topic came up on another board a while back and then I was hearing about the blue skin, you shouldn't use salt etc. So I decided I better not mess with it anymore. When we made our own we made it according to the directions the manufacturer of the generator. They said to heat the distilled water and add a sprinkle of sea salt and start cooking it. We used to leave it cook for about 10-15 minutes. You could see it " cooking " and the water turned cloudy. Like I said it was good stuff. Sometimes we would fall asleep and it would be all yellow and funky, the ex drank it and he said it just made it more powerful. A few months after I quit taking it I got what seemed to be CFS. I felt like crap, it was a chore to get out of bed to go to work. I quit my job and still all I did was sleep. This went on a couple of months. Eventually, I got better, but I have to think it was my body needing that silver. I would like to try it again, but like I said these companies all seem out for money and people saying the way we made it was bad for you. All I know is that stuff worked. If we forgot to add the salt, the stuff didn't " cook " and it was a weak batch. So what do I do. Listen to others or do what worked for us. I think I will break down and get another set up because I hate being without it. I wanted to try using the silver coins, but some say that is no good. So that is my experience with it. Guest guest
Hi Melanie, One reason you wouldn't want to use salt, is that it has aluminum in it and colloidalizing that would (wayyyy) not be good. Many people are in a hurry to go nowhere, and honestly, not much of anything, worth anything, got accomplished in a hurry, so when you get your new unit, let the CS brew slow, on it's own. It doesn't need any more " help " than plugging it in and turning it on. High ppm's are not an issue, 5 ppm is enough to kill about anything gram stain negative. 10 is more than enough. More isn't always better. Get a unit that will allow you to make CS by the gallon, that, in the long run, will help you save time. And even allow you to give it away by the gallon. They bring me a gallon if they are local, of specific distilled water and I give them a gallon of CS. I don't now nor have I ever brewed CS with anything but a 12 volt adapter, unless I was using it for exterior purposes or cleaning. I know many who use 27 volts to brew in half the time it takes me. I don't know if I can give a CS website or not, but the people on list at silvergen.com can help you build your own unit quite easily. You should never drink CS that was made without first testing the water you used to make it and then when you were done!!!! EVER. Distilled water is made from municiple water sources, they vary and so does the quality of the water or the chemicals accidently dumped in. I put myself through school working at the water plant, I could curl your toes with some of those stories. So plan on getting the ppm tester and calibrating fluid, that would be the most expensive part. Depending on where you live, and how thrifty you can be, buying everything brand new (and not getting the adapter and a jar at the local Goodwill for 50 cents) you could probably build your own generator, ppm tester and all, for 100.00. The very best to you, fft herbal remedies , " wolfprincess68 " <jermelkramer@c...> wrote: > > Hello everyone, I have been meaning to post about this when the topic > came up, but I am usually too overwhelmed with everything else all I > can do is keep up with reading everything. > > I am a BIG believer in CS.
