Guest guest
Hello, I have a client, seen her for the first time this week, who has been operated a year ago from a brain tumour. She has had 6 weeks of radiotherapy after the operation. Doctors say " everything is OK " . But she suffers from painfull headaches nearly all the time -either surface headaches with pain moving arround or deeper inside. She is taking steroids for for the headaches - " to alleviate pressure in the brain " say her doctor- and she says that they do help with the pain, but headaches keep on occuring. Tongue is red, short, quivery with toothmarks and swollen sides, no coating on the sides, and very thin white coating in the middle, long crack in the middle, coming nearly to the tip. Client feels thirsty all the time and has a dry mouth. I am wondering how much of this is due to the steroids, or remnants of the radiotherapy?... Can steroids be classified as " hot " or " cold " ? Do they tend to make the energy more sluggish? Any ideas about specific foods that might help? Artemis
