Info on prevalance of bear's bile alternatives

Michael McCoy of the AOM Alliance forwarded me a message regarding someone from

the Wildlife Conservation Society trying to find information on the use of

bear's bile alternatives within the TCM/OM community. I reprint some of that

message below. Anyone out there have any info/thoughts? Matt Bauer

 

" I am trying to ascertain the prevalence of use among TCM practitioners of the

synthetic and herbal alternatives to bear bile. If you have time to briefly

discuss this with me or could provide or refer me to any documentation of this I

would greatly appreciate it. My research thus far has turned up studies on the

synthetic and herbal alternatives but not so much on the commonality with which

these alternatives are in use.'
