Properties: Spicy (Acrid), Sweet, Warm

Actions: Rectify Qi Flow to Ease Pain; Activate SP Qi to Strengthen ST;

Free Blockage to Activate SP [Yang] [Kaiyu Xingpi], Astringe & Resolve

Damp Toxin (as in beriberi)

 

Uses: SP Impediment (Shangpi), Cold Stas w Qi Stas (Hanyu Qizhi) like

Thanks everyone, for the info on nardostachytis.

 

I found it in the ingredient list of a formula for arthritis and rheumatism,

Chui Feng Tou Gu Wan. Curious that this sort of pain relief doesn't seem to be

one of its strongest actions.
