Guest guest
I was recently contacted by someone producing a one hour program for ABC TV regarding people with terminal illness and how they cope. They would like to find subjects who have been treated with acupuncture/Chinese medicine but the emphasis of the show is about making the most of their situation. Some of the query sent to me follows. Anyone with possible candidates can contact me offlist at acu.guy Thanks - Matt Bauer " We realize this is an extremely sensitive request and understand the various emotional issues involved. We are looking for a person that is living with an incurable illness. We hope to find someone that has come to terms with his or her illness and is currently living each day to the fullest. We want to help this person leave a legacy to those family members left behind, help them to fulfill a dream and inspire others to live each day like tomorrow is the last. We would hope to find someone that has an acceptance of their fate and wants to make the most of their time left. ABC prefers someone between the ages of 25 to 45 and who can still breathe & move on his/her own. We also, for the first episode, would like to find someone close to our location which is Los Angeles. Ideally we would like to find someone who is anywhere from the Santa Barbara area to the San Diego area. It is important to stress that our show will not be about the process of dying, but instead about the acceleration of living. "
