Guest guest
Dr. Holmes Keikobad, Please do not send SPAM for your CEU classes to the private addresses of people on this email list. I believe that such behavior is not encouraged. Best, Eric
Guest guest
I apologize for your getting this email offer and can opt you out. As for the list, which one is that? And would it not be better to have people on any list decide for themselves, or must you presume to speak for all? Dr. Holmes. Guest guest
This offer was not directed to the List. At this moment there must be acupuncturists and health professionals by the thousands around the world who will have received the same offer, and the large part of those would likely be not on this List. This emailing had nothing to do with this Forum. As to taking permission of the moderator, I invariably request this before placing a product on it. There is not even one instance when a product was listed here without due clearance. I agree that if you don't want to be sent details regarding CEU products on an individual basis, these should not be sent to you, but for that you would directly email us and we would promptly take your name off. I am simply trying to clear the confusion that the emailing, which is similar to ones we send out once a month or so, had nothing to do with this List. I am hoping this puts the matter to rest. Guest guest
holmes wrote: > This offer was not directed to the List. Hi Dr. Holmes! If you have a web site, you can post the offer/notice there and just send the link with a message such as " check out my next seminar " and then put the link. That way those who are looking for a seminar can find it while those who don't like seminars and don't want to hear about them can just delete a little message like that. Guest guest
Carl, Andrea, Eric and Holmes, I do not understand why this topic is being discussed on this list! This group exists for the sole discussion of TCM and TCM ONLY. It is not a list for the discussion of I.T., Internet or Spam. There is no evidence to suggest there is any relation between the alleged sending of spam emails by Dr Holmes and this forum. So please take this topic OFF LIST. If people continue to discuss this topic on the list, your messages may end up having to be moderated. Warm regards, Attilio D'Alberto Doctor of (Beijing, China) B.Sc. (Hons) T.C.M., M.A.T.C.M. Guest guest
thanks pete i customarily get the OK from Dr. Attilio, or whoever may run it at any given time, to put an offer on the List understandably some people on the List are also on my database so that it seems that the List was involved i am stating categorically that the emailing was not sent to the List by any means, and this would simply not be dome without due clearance very many continue to receive the offers on a regular basis, while few from time to time for some constraints want to be opted off and they are at once obliged in any case what you suggest is also a good venue if ti comes to placing anything on the Forum thanks dr holmes petetheisen wrote: > holmes wrote: > > This offer was not directed to the List. > > Hi Dr. Holmes! > > If you have a web site, you can post the offer/notice there and just > send the link with a message such as " check out my next seminar " and > then put the link. Guest guest
I can see that we might have some issue with deciding upon knowing of upcoming events as opposed to not hearing about them (and eliminating all ads). I think that maybe there might be a compromise to this or not. I can either way but do see the issue over this. For example, I received this email also and do not remember signing up for this. Dr. Keikobad should review his listings as my only connection to many here is thru this chat group as well. Take care and have a happy holiday. Mike W. Guest guest
Wow, thanks Carl, I never thought of emailing Holmes! THIS GROUP IS FOR THE DISCUSSION OF TCM AND NOTHING ELSE. Not religion, not politics and certainly not spam. I've had several discussions with you, other members, Mark and Holmes. Don't you think I don't try and sort these problems out?! Don't be so naive. Yours as well as now moderated. And please no swearing. Warm regards, Attilio D'Alberto Doctor of (Beijing, China) B.Sc. (Hons) T.C.M., M.A.T.C.M. Attilio! I understand that, as a moderator, you do not like " topics " like these, but I must say that you are jumping the wrong horses here! This mail should be sent to Holmes and not the rest of the people, especially since I think it is very good that you have people on the list that act on mails that should not be on the list, instead of just keeping quiet! So instead of moderating people with only the best intention, i.e. not wanting to have pure crap on an excellent list like this, moderate those that put crap on the list!
