Guest guest
Except that you have generations of agreement on the nature of pulse qualities in the CM literature. Are there any sources that you know of in the Chinese medical literature for the idea that one phase or element can be the cause of the entire pathology of the patient before J.R. Worsley ? Certainly Karen's suggestion that the concept of constitutional factors is clearer and more comprehensive is worth considering as well. Guest guest
Hi Zev - I think I phrased that badly. What I meant was that CF doesn't change; pulses do. Getting the *correct* CF can sometimes be difficult, but the essential CSOE doesn't change. I had a teacher who said 'treating is a doddle. diagnosing is hard'. Guest guest
Stephen, what type of patient gets pissed -off if the practitioner is five minutes late? I would guess either Wood or Metal? I know when I am getting a treatment I can't stand it if the practitioner is late. Would be interested in your insights. Gabrielle
Guest guest
Hello gabrielle, a patient annoyed, if a practitioner is 5 minutes late MAY be manifesting excess anger (wood). By itself it`s not enuff to prove anything - I put it forward as an example of a way of `testing`/observing patients emotions, but in order to `get`, the emotion most imbalanced, one needs multiple observations, to build up a picture. You may be a wood cf or you may just be a busy person or your wood may be a little `off`, or maybe you got pmt, or maybe you`re a virgo (perfectionist). Its too small a piece of info - you note it and continue observing regards stephen > Stephen, what type of patient gets pissed -off if the > practitioner is five minutes late? Guest guest
I agree Stephen. Anyone's wood can be charged in a particular moment. Attilio: I know there is certain etiquette on the site, and I will tell you that the words Gabrielle used are often used to describe a wood cf in excess. It is used to prove a point, get the energy of it. Nikki Bilton would shout that and alot more to get a point across about wood. Guest guest
In the English language, 'pissed off' is a swear word. Please do not use it on this group and find another alternative way of describing it. Warm regards, Attilio D'Alberto Doctor of (Beijing, China) B.Sc. (Hons) T.C.M. M.A.T.C.M.
