Guest guest
Hi everyone -- I am new to this forum. I am wondering if anyone else has experienced, or encountered literature about patients with late stage lung disease who respond dramatically to acupuncture. (By dramatically I don't mean instantly.) Several years ago I had an experience with treating a patient who had had metastatic lung cancer for a long time who got amazing results from acupuncture alone (no herbs). He was also an amazing person in general so I always wondered if maybe it was just him, but now there are two other patients in our clinic who are also doing so well that their MDs are surprised. One has had asbestosis for a number of years, has been getting treated regularly with acupuncture for the last two, and as of this winter has stopped coughing up blood. The other has COPD and is on oxygen -- also steadily improving with her breathing. Neither of them are taking herbs. Actually, I think I have a two -part question about this, but the first part is just -- has anyone else encountered this? Thanks!
