We will eventually do quite well in this location, but we just moved here and so are still building up a client base. Its a great area demographically speaking. I have learnt that the most important thing in building a business is, apart from choice of location, is just staying put for the long haul, and then TCM practitioners can do very well indeed. Oh, and youve heard of the " new rich " , well people with babies or small children are the " new poor " . For anyone looking to move to Australia, check out the noticeboards or classified section of the association web sites that I listed earlier and you will get an idea of where there is a demand. I have also run a clinic in a regional area of north Queensland where there was no competition, and didnt do as well as I thought simply because of socio-economic factors. (People just didnt spend as much on health care.) Lea
Guest guest
Lea: I just woke up and your three recent posts are giving me a Mark's brothers laugh (not Carl.) It seems a lot of us on this list are sparked by the summer fire. I did enjoy the humor - sometimes you have to laugh at the craziness. By the way, we have a lot of posts in the archives on business ideas. If you want to email me privately we can talk about some. What I don't have a lot of right now is time - with two teenagers high school and middle school. (I will respond as I can) The summer will be a rest.
