Guest guest
My specific concern was not myrrh (I've never taken it internally) but frankincense. I have used some suppositories in the past containing frankincense. This seems to be more of a European method of using essential oils and I know it may be controversial and experimental (possibly even dangerous) but is actually quite effective. There is a French doctor who also uses thyme, oregano, tea tree, etc. in suppositories to control infections. This is introduced into the body in a different way and I don't know actually how or how much is absorbed. I would be interested to hear if anyone has experience with this method. Your comment about internal use of resins brought up a possible concern about using frankincense in this way. Also, the dreaded Young Living people talk about putting frankincense in capsules. I have never taken encapsulated essential oils but have tried the suppository method. Any thoughts on the subject would be appreciated.
