Guest guest
Hello Everyone, My name is Holly Perry, and I'm a recent addition to your list. I am a hands-on energy healer with a healing practice in my home in Laingsburg, Michigan, and my initial interest in using essential oils was from the healing perspective. As a follow up for clients after receiving an energy healing, I recommend that they bathe in a combination of sea salt and baking soda. Several years ago I began offering this combination to clients after hearing too many comments from them about not knowing where to find the sea salt. The addition of essential oils to the mix followed shortly thereafter, after clients made comments about sore muscles, and insomnia and wanting to feel healing effects while bathing. I still consider myself a relative " newbie " in the essential oil world, and have developed a huge passion for learning about and using the oils. This passion has already manifested into a delightful addiction, and in an effort to support this expensive habit, I have decided to become a small manufacturer of products which use the oils, as requests for my bath salts have spread to several local retail locations as a result of clients purchases and word of mouth sharings. So I am now in the process of changing a small hobby-like activity into a bit larger venture with an admittedly naive understanding of what I am about to embark upon. I trust in the universe, and know I am being guided into this arena for some adventurous reason. I love going into the unknown so it feels completely perfect. I also know I will have many questions along the way, (actually I already do), and I have joined this list in hopes of tapping into the wealth of knowledge I am certain resides here, seeking guidance from those who have gone before me. So my first question is: what do you use to transfer measured amounts of essential oils from larger to smaller bottles? I have purchased a small quantity of miron violet 5 ml bottles to refill, but they are so dark I am unable to see how much oil I'm putting into the bottles. I have tried several transfer methods but have not yet hit upon anything efficient so am asking for information on what to use, and where to find it. I have considered graduated pipettes, however haven't found anything with a 5 ml draw, and ideally would like something that allows me to draw precisely 5 mls from one bottle and put it into another. Thank you in advance for any information you are able to share. I'm normally not so chatty, but wanted to say " hi " and share a little bit about myself with you all. Many Blessings, Holly
