Janet, doesn't sound stupid and here's MY little bit of understanding on the

subject.

I was given to understand that using too much of ANY E.O. over any period of

time will cause liver damage.

The liver is a cleansing tool and if it is innundated day after day after day

with the same oils, it doesn't have time to recover and clean itself out.

Which is one reason we tell people NOT to use the same oil day in and day

out, especially in the heavier quantities, but to switch them round...especially

if you are using them for a particular reason, such as a rash, or eczema or

some long term condition...

Now the odds are with really low amounts you aren't going to do yourself a

whole lot of damage, but the liver really appreciates it if you give it a break

from time to time.

Now I realize that that is a very vague answer, however I'm not a

toxicologist, I hope you get a better answer, if only to read and try and

understand it

myself.

I have a question for which I have not been able to find a direct

answer.

Is there a list of eo's that are known to cause liver damage in human

beings?

I realize there are some that have interactions with some household

over the counter drugs that may have this effect.

I am not suggesting these eo's would need to be injested to cause

damage. I realize too much in a blend could be toxic.

Here is praying my question does not sound stupid but I am trying to

make some additions to my info files and realized this was one area

I knew little about.

Thanking you in advance for helpful information.
