Trust me when I say that I'm suffering right along with you. It's FREEZING here, it's 50 degrees, the rain has finally stopped and the sun is coming out to play... So I'm right there with you babe. Signed, nasty bitch in California! ROFLMAO! Seriously, stay indoors as much as possible, at those temps frost bite happens super fast. Keep your animals in, drink lots of hot tea, wear layers and stay warm. K Cheers! One of the reasons I love ya. >Seriously, stay indoors as much as possible, at those temps frost bite >happens super fast. I went to Fedex and to get gas this morning. I am wear 2 sets of long johns, sweat pants, and a fleece pull over, two pair of wool socks and that is in the house. (Not my most attractive look! LOL) This southern girl will never get used to this. I called Dr. Abramson this morning, she and Doc work together and told her I knew Duke University would welcome them moving their research to Chapel Hill, I would pack her house, unpack her house on arrival and landscape her yard in the spring. >Keep your animals in, are you kidding, they are curled up on sheep skins. >drink lots of hot tea, I loaded up when Butch had his tea sale! >wear layers and stay warm. If I layer any more I will not be able to bottle the sandalwood that arrived today. ;-) Hugs~ Making Light of Scents, Janet Golden-Hogan http://www.GoldenEssence.com
Guest guest
Hey 50 degrees is warm for now. I have been in Calif. all my life but this kind of weather is something fairly new, maybe in the past 20 yrs or so. Today the sun is shinning and it is freezing. I guess I had better not wonder on paper if the weather is being manipulated. Ever so often I hear this. What do they do seed the clouds or something like that?????? I should write back about my experience with the Essential Oil Sunburn. I have had it from Neat use and a friend got the same from Oregano on her face. Mine was on the stomach. My stomach actually ended up with a fine white dead kind of skin on it. For awhile I thought I might not even be able to use the oils because even using Lavender burned the skin on the stomach, not too bad but it did. On that note I had been a big skeptic about Lavender taking the burn out of a normal burn say from a hot iron etc. but it does a beautiful job of getting rid of the burn. Why it burned my stomach I do not know, but it was like the original oil got something started and it took say 6 months or so to put oils there again. Maybe even a year.
