Guest guest
Hey Michael, > Is there much difference between Vetiver from Haiti and that from > Madagascar (or another I've read about called Bourbon)? I've not seen anyone selling Vetiver from Madagascar .. so I can't say much about it. Indonesia is a big producer and the biggest difference twixt the Indonesian and Haitian Vetiver is the Haitian is twice as nice says them that like Vetiver .. and a bit more costly says me. Throwing Bourbon on the end of a product from Madagascar would be a French trick. But the French run Madagascar when they're not afraid to go there .. and as things have calmed down a bit lately, they are sorta trickling back in. > This may be another calming and antispasmodic oil. Calming for sure .. if they like it. Antispasmodic .. some say it is and some say it isn't and I have no documentation to prove it either way but I do on Oregano .. and I have personal experience on that too. :-) > Michael Y'all keep smiling. I love it's grounding effect... and the feeling of strength and solidity I get from it's aroma... and the sweetness of it's scent. hows that for starters? I finally have something to offer. I have been soaping with vetiver for a while, and never experienced a quick trace with it. I even did it with discounted water last time and still soaped well for mel Lizzie Lizzie's kitchen Made Soap
Guest guest
I make a lime/vetiver soap and it has never accelerated, however, I make a lime/bay soap and it does hasten trace.
