Guest guest
Christine Ziegler Anyone else going to the Leap of Creativity Gathering Feb. 29th? I know Anita and Georgia will be there, anyone else??? I'm getting excited about meeting so many folks this week (getting together with Carrie on Friday)! H The Leap of Creativity Gathering is still going to happen, although I've had some glitches and we had to go with another place to hold the gathering. It will be held from 9a.m.-3p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 29th at the Grangerland Community Center, which is located between the north Spring/The Woodlands/Oak Ridge North area, and Conroe. Thank goodness we had double booked, in case one place fell through, and sure enough it did. We will be having guest bags (if the samples and cuepons arrive, that is). We will also have pot luck, so bring a side dish if you want. If you don't that is ok, as I think there will be plenty. Will also be having a few demos, including liquid soap making, candle making, and a couple of other small ones. Do however, let me know you will be there, if you haven't already contacted me, so we can get a more accurate count. email me PRIVATELY at: anita-r@ev1net We are already at about 30 people. Here are the directions to the Grangerland Community Center for the Leap of Creativity Gathering on Sunday, Feb. 29th. There are no chairs or tables at the center. It looks like we will have enough tables, but please bring a chair or two. >From I45N: Exit FM242/Needham Rd and take a right on FM242. Travel 11 miles or to the 4th light, which will be FM1485. Turn left on FM1485. After 1 1/2 miles you will come to another light (Shell and Diamond Shamrock gas stations on the right). Continue straight on that road which has now become FM3083. You will travel I think another 2 miles. You will see Ben Milam Elementary school on your right. Just a little bit after the elementary school you will see in the distance flashing yellow lights. Before those yellow lights will be what looks like an old white house or another church (it is just past Grangerland Baptist Church) on the right. That is the Grangerland Community Center. There is a little strip center to the right where you can park. Everything there is closed on Sundays. You will see the Grangerland Post Office and the Grangerland Meat Market. Yes, I live in a little bitty town!! If you hit the flashing yellow lights, just take a right into the parking lot and you are there. >From 59N: Exit FM1485/New Caney exit. Turn left under the freeway (if you are coming from Cleveland/Livingston area turn right on FM1485). Continue 6 miles down FM1485 and you will come to the main intersection of FM242. Continue across FM242 and follow the directions above about being on FM1485 to the Grangerland Community Center. If you are heading down I45S from Willis/Huntsville area: Exit FM3083 after League Line Rd. Take a left on FM3083. Take that all the way down past Loop 336N, Hwy 105, Loop 336S. Once you have passed Loop 336S you will travel about 5 miles or so, but you will see the flashing yellow lights of Grangerland coming up. Start slowing down as the Grangerland Community Center is on the left right after the Meat Market and Post Office. You can park in the parking lot if you want. If you get lost or have any questions, my cell is 936-203-3188. Can't wait to see ya'll there!! i Cris and others in the Houston area!
