Guest guest
Hey Juliane, > Hello everybody: > I am so glad to join this group. My name is Juliane. Why I > knew this group? For I heard this from Butch:). I am from Taiwan but > study at Wisconsin-Madison now. Welcome to the list .. I am so happy you decided to join. :-) I cut out a part of your post but I am sure you will get some help on the areas you need .. there are many good folks on the list .. and the List Momma will be back on list tomorrow .. I think. She has been playing hostess to a friend from Yankee Land. Our List Mommy is a New York Yankee gal who now lives in Texas and is learning how to be a real Southern person .. good it is. ;-) > Anyway I will come to see you guys often, and if anybody who > is interested in traditional Chinese medicine and herbs, I could > provide my knowledge about that. I am interested .. and I think others might be too. The reasons I didn't reply to your update post to me tonight were: 1. I worked till 4 yesterday morning then went home. I then read and sipped Black Russians till 6 .. crashed then and woke up at 5 this afternoon .. means I was sorta tired .. I reckon. ;-) 2. Came to work at 8 tonight .. sent all the orders I had to my folks in Maryland because I just didn't feel like working. Headed to the pub at 9 or so because a couple of buddies had come in from Istanbul .. they are the managers for KFC and Pizza Hut for Turkey (Ertunc and Osman) .. both franchises are owned by the same holding company. 3. To make a long story short .. we got half snockered at the pub then went out for a fine dinner around 10:30 PM .. and I just got back to my office a half hour or so ago. But all of our drinking involved aromatic distilled natural products, which is certainly in line with the purpose and intent of this list .. we had co-distilled Pimpinella anisum and grapes .. called Raki in Turkey. :-) I will update your order in the morning .. long before my folks in Maryland come to work. > See ya, > Juliane Juliane .. it is great to see you on the list. We have (I think) at least six folks on the list from Taiwan. For the list members who are not aware, Aromatherapy is very important in Taiwan. Y'all keep smiling. :-) Butch http://www.AV-AT.com
Guest guest
> I cut out a part of your post but I am sure you will get some help on > the areas you need .. yes, indeed. I got some info from a lady yesterday:D there are many good folks on the list .. and the > Our List Mommy is a New > York Yankee gal who now lives in Texas and is learning how to be a real > Southern person .. good it is. ;-) Sounds really cool. How to be a southern person?? > > Anyway I will come to see you guys often, and if anybody who > > is interested in traditional Chinese medicine and herbs, I could > > provide my knowledge about that. > > I am interested .. and I think others might be too. So feel free to pop out any questions about them. I will try my best (though I am not an expert:P) Sometimes I really wonder that does the TMC theory could been allpy to westerners? For there are some difference genetically. Like drinking water. TMC suggested that don't drink too cold, icy water. (esp for women) But when I came in US. Everyone loves icy water. Some ppl said this point was set up b/c the sanitary environment was poor in the old times, so people were avoid eat and drink cold stuff. sounds reasonable, and others say that the easterners are living under hot and humid weather, so their body are used to warm stuff. Maybe some ppl can share their thoughts. > Juliane .. it is great to see you on the list. We have (I think) at > least six folks on the list from Taiwan. Yes, it's very popular now. but also expensive, my poor Taiwan friends. :~~~~ And some ppl are mistaken for there is a kind of synthectic perfume oil majorly made by alcohol. some bad sellers call them EO oils ,too. (really angry about that) Next time, I will share a funny story about why I was called " EO little princess " in Madison 's Taiwanese student's group. Actually funny but sad:P
