Yo Christina,

Better'n I done .. that's a fact!

You sure it was not Young Living you were reading about? ;-)

> (doesn't mean that THIS particular thing is suspicious

I checked it out .. its not from al-Qaeda .. or from YL.

> just that it was this kind of addictive game that sucked

> in the unwary)

Well .. the USSR is history .. and the KGB is now Russian Mafia.

We have discussed the possibility that it could be Young Living.

And generally, al-Qaeda doesn't train folks to fly choppers .. they

are into larger aircraft .. but it could be a Hezbullah set-up just

to see if folks who are well coordinated would question their own

abilities .. such folks are easily recruited when you give them the

necessary confidence. Actually .. this could be a subversive plot

to undermine the free world ... whatever that is. :-(

Yep .. wouldn't work on this end .. tis now 0134 in the morning here and

I ain't even got wound up yet. ;-)

> I run the free version of adware and so have to remember to run it

> which I do once a week or so.

Fair it is. But worrying about not running Ad-Aware every day is like

Yankees whut come down South or go out West and believe they gotta keep

their eyes on the ground whilst walking so they don't step on Mr. Jake

NoShoulders .. then they run into a dang tree and stick a branch in

their eye-socket. ;-)

>>I've never been astute enough to " feel " when a site is suspicious ..

> I think it's a " feel " you get and also plain 'ole logic.

Understand. Like smelling nuoc mam in the middle of a triple canopy

jungle when you know there ain't no restaurant there. ;-)

> Commercial sites that have a " need to know " the information that

> spyware acquires are by their very nature suspicious.

But .. we have many people in this industry who thrive on trying to

convince others .. and do good job of convincing themselves ... that

their motives are purely altruistic .. so mebbee some or those nuts

could run a website that had no ulterior motives .. just trying to make

folks feel good .. make the terrorists and such stop being bad guys and

play Chopper Pilot .. maybe even convince them that competitive stuff

like that was more beneficial to mankind than bombing and such.

We must .. you know .. give the benefit of the doubt to our fellow men

even when we think they are sorry pieces of dawg excrement.

> I don't vist that kind of site often.

Good show.

> Usually just individual's sites and educational sites like

> Universities, etc.

Be careful .. many of the guys in Black Hats work in universities. Odds

are good that in time they will corrupt university sites and put bugs in

them so they can track us and know what kinda life we live.

> I also try to keep the security settings on my browser as to

> then I manually change.

You're ahead of me .. I don't know how to adjust mine.

> Granted I sometimes forget to change back, but it's better than

> nothing.

I reckon .. mine is set as it is and beyond that it is nothing.

>>>I could then confirm if those files came from there....

>>

>>Good idee methinks. ;-)
