Guest guest
To use a phrase from a Allman Brothers song - I feel like I've down to the whippin' post! As you all know I had a bout with a nasty flu bug which lasted a few weeks, and was still dealing with the last little lingering yuck from it - but was well on the mend. Then early this week my 4 yr old got some kind of stomach bug and had expulsions from both ends (to euphemize it). Well, Wednesday night it caught up with me and the baby and we were both vomiting through yesterday. Needless to say I didn't go anywhere but bed and the bathroom all day yesterday, and thankfully (SO FAR) today I am feeling SO very much better! I tell you, I can't even remember when we've been so sick around here. I spoke to my doc who thinks that we just didn't fully get over the last virus and that we need to focus on re-building our immune systems and, getting to bed on time if not early even (to get lots of rest) and be sure to eat very healthy over the next few weeks, otherwise we'll all be susceptible to the anything that wants to invade our weakened defenses. So we're on a mission now Now we're back on the mend AGAIN and catching up with e-mail and all that good stuff ... I hope everyone has a good weekend. Happy Passover and Happy Easter to all who are celebrating. I hope I can get my newsletter out before Sunday cause I had a couple good recipes lined up in there for Passover and Easter. *Smile* Chris (list mom) http://www.alittleolfactory.com Before you criticize anyone first walk in their shoes two miles. Guest guest
Hi Chris: Glad to hear you are on the road to recovery instead of a whipping post!!! I have been having problems since Christmas and am still doctoring. My white blood count remains low and so far have undergone several tests including a CT scan which showed I have a spot on one lung. Just bears watching for now--have to concentrate on getting the white count back up where it should be. Do you, or anyone, know herbs that would help this condition. I am taking Colloidal Silver and a multi-vitamin to see if that helps. Have been pretty miserable to say the least. Blessings and love, Effie >To use a phrase from a Allman Brothers song - I feel like I've down to >the whippin' post!
