Guest guest
Hi, folks. I recently made the mistake of ordering 2 oz of wintergreen EO because the menthol crystals carried by my usual supplier are so expensive, but now I'm not sure what to do with it. I know it's on the " Pregnant Ladies Do Not Use! " list; now I just don't know.. I feel like I shouldn't have ordered it. I was planning to use it in foot soap with shredded loofah, peppermint and eucalyptus EOs and perhaps in foot butter with the same EO's as the foot soap. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks tons, Ilana
Guest guest
Wintergreen oil? I've heard so many negative things about that particular oil that I would hesitate using it at all. The worst being is that most of it is as phoney as a three dollar bill. Also, I BELIEVE I have heard that it would overload your liver in a BIG hurry. That and Birch. Does anyone else have some information on this oil. I do know I've heard some people just swear by it in thier rdt things, but it's an oil that I choose to avoid for the most part. Guest guest
Hi Ilana, Wintergreen is Great for the Joints. I often use it with Cypress (for circulation) and Marjoram (for muscles) on my knees. Helps the pain when arthritus starts. As for Pregnant ladies.. I think it'd be safe in soap (not enough volume). The oils I'd avoid would be any that would start detoxify and send anything bad to the baby when pregnant or nursing. Marsha , " redflyght " <ushabti1@e...> wrote: > Hi, folks.
