Hi all: I have just discovered honey and I love it!! I have tried honey from the

supermarket, which doesn't do much for me, but then I tried raw honey (locally

gathered) from the nearby health food store and I'm hooked!! I have eliminated

almost all sugar from my life, but was using Splenda. Now I am substituting

honey for the splenda wherever I can.

 

Does anyone know anything about the health benefits of honey (links, sites,

general knowledge, etc) or of any precautions I need to know? I've googled a

couple of sites, but alot come up as 'sellers' of honey. I'd like some unbiased

info. I've heard taking a teaspoon of honey will help one sleep better and will

also help with allergies. Could this be true? Which kind of honey is the best?
