Guest guest
Moderator's Note: It is good of you to mention that cold turkey is best. Unfortunately the vast majority of humanity are not purists like quite a few of us here. If so, cigarettes, refined sugar, etc. would be studied in musuems as a curiosity of human inclination for self-destruction. I hold to the thought that all viewpoints should be voiced and considered. Which also means I need to allow posts to go to the group that deal with where the vast majority of people are currently at and what they can relate to now. For some- eliminating all grains outside of " properly prepared rolled oats " - what the heck does that mean?- will be enough of a shock and mental barrier. For others, going completely carb free will be an adventure and the challenge will be relished. Thank you for adding to the discussion and holding the transformative capabilities of humanity at their highest. Be Well, DesertSkyNM ------------- I agree with Sally Fallon on many topics, but not this one. Sure, rolled oats are not as dangerous as sugar and white flour, but they sure aren't good for one. Like when quitting any addictive drug (heroin, tobacco, etc.) moderating a carb habit is far more difficult than going cold turkey. Will power alone has cured addicts of tobacco, heroin, and carbs. To say that willpower is not enough is a gross dis-service for those with carb addiction.
