Guest guest
If you are over 40, turn off the lights, and take 1-3 mg of Melatonin then unless you are exceptionally different, it should close you lids within an hour of taking it. Guest guest
I have been using sub-lingual melatonin daily for the past 15 or so years. When I was younger, I could use it to smoothly adjust what times of the day I slept. But now (going on 64) radical shifts in my sleep schedule have become quite difficult. Guest guest
Vince, Dates are very high in tryptophan, the amino acid that is needed to produce melatonin and - in turn - serotonin. You will most likely notice a nerve calming effect soon. And keep your mobile phone off during the night. Microwave radation reduces melatonin levels drastically. Guest guest
Why such a small dose? I use 1 mg sublingual from GNC, and I use 3 tablets. Guest guest
It was suggested to me to start very low and work up. After years of savage insomnia, 250 mcg helped, so I am sticking with that. But, I have to bother cutting a 1 mg pill in quarters and do it sublinqually that way. I was hoping to find a tablet smaller than 1 mg. Alobar <Alobar wrote: Why such a small dose?
