Guest guest
Hi All, Would anyone know the reason for finger nails turning very soft and brittle? What are the recommended food to take please? Thanks. Melly
Guest guest
The old time remedy, Knox gelatin is a good place to start. This is a good indication that you own a path toward joint problems, so all of the common joint cures: MSM, Glucosamine, & Chondroitin are good, that is, organic sulfates. Guest guest
Hi, A friend of mine had some luck with taking gelatine at least once a day, like a teaspoonful (in solution of course) for peeling nails. Guest guest
Is any streaking under the nail bed; such as blood spots; or peeling of the nail itself ? This can indicate a Deficiency of Vitamin C Ascorbic Acid or is their a look of a curved nail; something like a " curved spoon ? this indiactes a Defciency of Iron; this conditon is not common. Guest guest
Anne, and ZB, Thanks. You are right. It could be deficiency in Vit C but i can't take C as my stomach is highly acidic. The most i can take for C is from fruits and vegetables only. I will also try to take the gelatin agar-agar. I bought some from an asian store and its only ingredient is dried agar-agar. Since this is from dried seaweed, do you think it would be rich in iodine too? Melly
Guest guest
In this case I would do the Biotin tablets (very inexpensive and Gelattin; I do not know if the Agar Agar Gelatin is as good as Knox; but your right; the agar agar would have beneficial Iodine. Have you ever tried Ester C ? Vitamin C aids in the utilization of iron from frutis and veggies; do the gealtin and biotin for 30 days; a , melly banagale <tita_mel wrote: > > Anne, and ZB, > > Thanks. You are right. Guest guest
Have you tried Shea Butter ? I have thumbnails with ridges and canyons. I asked the dermatologist if I needed a supplement. She said that I have damaged the cuticles and nothing would help. I started using Shea Butter on my body at night as a moisturizer and my cuticle started to grow back on my thumbnails. The ridges and canyons are slowly going away. Guest guest
If you're looking to harden your nails, try pure tee tree oil rubbed on a couple of nights a week and take lots of Biotin. This worked for me. " He is your friend, your partner, your defender -- your dog. You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart.
