Guest guest
Carolyn, Twenty five years ago, we had the same problem with our son. It would take me longer to get his stomach settled and he would miss a couple of days of school. He would be ok and a few days later, it would start in again. Dr. kept putting him on antibiotics and that didn't help. Finally took him to a pediatrician and he told me to get baby aspirin and give him 2 with every meal. I did this for maybe a month. Packing a lunch for school, I put the aspirin in his thermos of juice. The aspirin blocked some endorphins that were causing this to happen. Not having a medical mind, you will have to have someone else explain this to you. Janis For about the past month my 8 year old son has been vomiting at night. Sometimes two nights in a row, then not for three or four nights, then one night, then not, etc. I have tried to find ties, e.g., timing of supper, what he ate, what he did all day, but nothing seems to be a consistent catalyst. He has vomited as early as 10:30pm and as late as 5 in the morning. Sometimes all his supper, sometimes only a little bile. Often he vomits twice about 90 minutes apart, then sleeps soundly
