Guest guest
Non that I know my sister has sarcoid she is on the Marshall Protocol and it has help her tremendously. Stay away from prednisone that is what most dr's want to give.
Guest guest
" There is a method, called the Marshall Protocol, which comes with a lot of controversy. It involves radically lowering the Vit D levels in the blood and the complete avoidance of sunshine; it also uses an antibiotic. " My sister who has had sarcoid for 12 years and tried many treatments the only one the really has made a difference is the Marshall Protocol. Yes you do need to watch your Vitamin D intake but it is mostly staying away from artificial Vitamin D and watching how much natural you get, she lives in Florida, doesn't sit in the sun but doesn't hide from it either. It is very small doses of antibiotics and without it I believe my sister would be dead, she was very bad in a wheel chair and having lesions on her brain. Now she is active, walks and can help care for grandchildren, you would have had to know her 6 years ago to really see how the this protocol has helped with controlling the sarcoid. They say this is not hereditary but one of her daughters had a test and carries sarcoid though she has not had a flare up in a while but she has spent allot of time pregnant and that will put it in remission. I also have two cousins who have it, different parents but all on the same side of the family. Some people are using herbal treatments that would be the choice for treating funguses for sarcoid I do not know how effective it has been.
