Guest guest
I am having problems with a portion of my feet cramping. Sometimes it is just one foot; sometimes both but usually in the same area which is on the ball of the foot where the 3rd and 4th toes attach to the foot. I get a cramping feeling when I am out for a walk and sometimes it is painful to make it back home. I had this same problem 28 years ago during tennis lessons when I was pregnant with my first child. A Dr. suggested Forte which I think was a calcium or cal/mag supplement which did seem to help. I cannot find that product any more and that Dr. no longer lives in my area. I have purchased good walking shoes with a wide toe and wear them loosely tied. I have started taking Vitamin K2 in hopes that it would help with the uptake of the other supplements I am taking. I NEED to keep incorporating walking into my daily life as I would like to loose weight. If you can think of anything that would help me, please share it. I would much appreciate it. THANKS. Guest guest
The Cal(cium) part is not good for stopping cramps. Calcium causes contraction of muscles. You probably got some relief from the mag(nesium). Magnesium relaxes muscle. My suggestion is: 1. Rub magnesium gel into your feet on a daily basis after each shower, bath, or foot bath. 2. Take frequent and long hot water + epsom salts foot baths. 3. Use an air cell inner sole in your shoes (good ones cost about $20/pair). 4. Avoid standing on your feet for long periods until you get some positive relief from the above. Do not expect immediate healing. This will take awhile. Guest guest
hi, if it isnt the supplement you need... another idea came to mind. i was having awful cramping in my lower legs and feet. it came on quite suddenly. .. i went to the doctor and he asked me about my salt intake...and to go back and write down the things i ate each day. i found that i was consuming more salt in a homemade fruit & nut mix that i had recently incorporated into my daily diet. the other point was staying hydrated. more exercise / *more water. :-) i began drinking more water and stopped eating the mixture..(to determine if it was that ... *It Was. so.... i then removed all salty ingreditents to the recipe. added non-salty so as to not have to go without important ingreditents to the recipe. since then the cramping has stopped. doc said be careful when you consume salty foods.. and to add drinking *more water to my daily routine. hope this helps. Guest guest
Take a look at this web site as it is a foot reflexology chart. It tells you what areas pertain to other parts of the body. http://www.dorlingkindersley-uk.co.uk/static/cs/uk/11/features/reflexolo\ gy/footchart.html As you move your mouse over an area it will turn a color and show on the list below where it is associated. From the looks of it, it is your ears that are having a problem. Bookmark this web site and reuse it. Learn to work on your feet and you will feel much better. My father in law at the age of 97 had a vertebrae completely gone and the dr put a neck ring on him for support. His daughter is a reflexologist and she showed him how to work on his feet in the area of the neck, which in his instant was the joint of the big toe. In 3 months time, he had restored it and took off the neck ring. Drs were amazed and had no explanation for it. He lived to be 103 yrs. Goes to show that no matter the age, you can restore the body. Guest guest
Try a cup of white Vinigar in warm water. Make sure the area is covered. When the water is cold remove and dry your feet. I just learned this trick from my sister, who is a nurse. , " kookiebhl " <kookiebhl wrote: > > I am having problems with a portion of my feet cramping. Guest guest
Go with magnesium supplement from cramps. Reflexology once a week for about a month also can help relax your fee and realign. This is my experience. Good luck. , " kookiebhl " <kookiebhl wrote: > > I am having problems with a portion of my feet cramping.
