Guest guest
When I started getting painful foot and leg cramps, it took ma while to relate it to dietary changes I had made. I discovered I was very sensitive to dietary oxalates. When I went on a low oxalate diet, and began to take Calcium (with no Magnesium or vitamin D) prior to each mel, the cramping diminished, then went away. I discovered that high oxalte foods (spinach, especially) was the cause of my problem. Sometimes it is just one foot; sometimes both but usually in the same area which is on the ball of the foot where the 3rd and 4th toes attach to the foot. I get a cramping feeling when I am out for a walk and sometimes it is painful to make it back home. I had this same problem 28 years ago during tennis lessons when I was pregnant with my first child. Guest guest
This is what we use and works wonders. I've given it to a few other people and they swear by it. http://www.puritan.com/mineral-products-036/calcium-magnesium-potassium-tablets-\ 001990 ----- Pat
Guest guest
I usually find relief from leg and foot cramps by either eating a few bananas during the day or taking a potassium supplement. With new breath, Ravija
