Guest guest
You could try Vitamin B6 200 mgs per day, x 90 days. Also, Dr. Joel Wallach says that carpal tunnel syndrome is a lack of arsnic. Having an acidic body causes all kinds of havoc. That book, Alkalize or Die, has excellent ideas for improving alkalinity. Drinking the juice of a freshly squeezed lemon in water turns highly alkaline in the body. So, if you like to eat acidic foods like meat, sugar, you could sip lemonade during the day to balance the effects of those foods. Your body will heal if you let it. Just ideas to do further research on . . . Just great. Who thought there would be a penalty to shedding pounds? Well, the pain has been getting so bad that there are days I can't work at all. I tried therapy and osteopathic manipulation, medication, yoga, creams and acupuncture with no real results. Yes, I even reluctantly resorted to steroid injections but now they don't have an effect any longer. Surgery is recommended, but I can't afford it and WILL NOT compromise my hands (I've heard horror stories and besides, I don't trust doctors). There are times, I must admit, when I think " Ok, I was fatter but pain free. " Pain makes you have terrible thoughts. Anybody have a " no-surgery, no-drugs " treatment that works? Suggestions? Guest guest
You may want to get your thyroid checked, and make sure your doctor knows the new lab ranges for thyroid too, most do not know the new ranges now, neither do the labs, that is why I went undiagnosed for so many years with hypothyroidism. One of the symptoms of hypothyroidism is carpel tunnel syndrome. Ask to have a copy of your lab test results, always.
