Guest guest
Donna, Find a neuromuscular therapist that makes house calls. Muscular reeducation will stimulate circulation, release spasms, extend range-of-motion, disrupt pain patterns, etc. The suffix " itis " means inflammation, which can be treated effectively in many formats, nutrition, diet, hydro/cryotherapy, etc. More pain because of weather changes is inflammatory. Read " Inflammation Nation " . It may be at your library. There's another couple of books professing that inflammation is a gateway to many other conditions that few connect together & how to treat them. By the way, aspirin can be ingested other than orally. For one, it can be used in a poultice. If you can drink liquids, then it can be ground up,mixed & downed with a straw. How 'bout willow bark tea? Cramp bark tea for the stiffness? Good Luck! Off to treat my shoulder with a Rubbermaid ice pack! -richard, l.m.t.- --- On Mon, 2/2/09, sivriky <sivriky wrote: In Alternative- Medicine- Forum , Donna <dscroggs@.. .> wrote: > > I was just wondering what I can take I'm 55 and have arthritis and am > finding it harder to get up out of chairs and as the day wears on I am > really aching and hurting in my joints.
