Guest guest
When my daughter was 9 yrs old she developed a nasty case of strep throat. (Her earlier yrs had been characterized by many ear infections, leading to a tonsillectomy). Once she seemed to be well again, I sent her back to school. At that time the kids in the neighborhood walked the 1/2 mile to school. Afer several days she came home crying painfully, telling me how much her legs hurt. The diagnosis was rheumatic fever! Please make sure that is not what you're dealing with. My now adult daughter has a nasty lung history, along with recently dxed rheumatoid arthritis. Though I am alwasy a 'naturalist' first, if this were to be rheumatic fever, I would definitly go with the antibiotics. My child was on penicillin for 6 months, and I've wondered ever since if I took her off that too soon. I did give her mega doses of Vit C, all I knew to do back then. I wish you the best outcome, for your children, and yourself Sharon > Both of my kids keep telling me that the back of their knees hurt, > which I find to be very strange.
