Guest guest
My skin and scalp is flaky, dry and itchy. I am nursing my son and was told by a doctor to " get a good moisturizer " which has not helped. I get a bit of relief by adding a few drops of tea tree oil to my moisturizer, but it does not last. Guest guest
I use lots of coconut oil and have found that it stops all itching etc. Once a week I rub it into my scalp as well as all over my hair - comb it through the hair making sure that it is all well covered too. Then leave it on preferably overnight or at least several hours. Then just wash your hair as you would normally. You will find that besides gettting rid of eczema and itching scalp it also leaves your hair very soft and manageable. It is also a good hair conditioner. If you do this for a few weeks and you do not notice much improvement, also go on a candida diet and take some antifungals like oil of oregano and grapefruit seed oil. I have read several places that eczema is one of many symptoms caused by candida. Symptoms, Diseases & Organ Malfunctions Caused by Candida http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/cabout3.php How Candida Causes Symptoms, Diseases, Defects & Malfunctions http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/cfd5.php Candida Causes Cell Membrane Defects Did you know that candida toxins cause cell membrane defects? This may explain a lot of the symptoms you are experiencing. Red Blood Cells; White Blood Cells; Insulin and Blood Sugar Problems; Hormones; Nutrients and Fluid Retention; Signalling by the Cells There's more. Defective cell membranes may interfere with the ability of blood sugar to penetrate the various cells, a job normally accomplished with the help of insulin. When cell membranes are damaged, the insulin will have trouble doing its job - and insulin levels may have to be increased {by the body}. This may result in low blood sugar which explains why you have hypoglycemia symptoms, and it can also cause you to gain weight! http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/cabout1.php best wishes Shan , " Jaime Pelletier " <slychikadee wrote: > > My skin and scalp is flaky, dry and itchy. Guest guest
I have found that rinsing my hair with vinegar and water helps my scalp. I either get a dish pan and step stool and dip my head in a little bit of vinegar mixed with about half the pan of water OR get a plastic cup (32 oz) fill bottom lightly with apple cider vinegar and after washing my hair fill the cup up in the shower with water (this will help mix) and pouring some of the mixture on my head and lightly rubbing in the area I am pouring it on. Yes, your head will smell a bit like vinegar, but will dissipate as it dries. (Note: Apple Cider Vinegar helps the ph and is excellent for a number of other things as well - like digestion). For the skin - I have found that goat milk soap works wonders! I have been experimenting and have found a goat milk soap with tea tree oil works wonderfully! The ones I have been trying come from http://jennessfarm.com but there are plenty of others out there as well! Hope this helps! , " Jaime Pelletier " <slychikadee wrote: > > My skin and scalp is flaky, dry and itchy.
