Guest guest
Here are a couple of recipes I've found. Plague Tonic: Take a handful each of garlic, onions, ginger, horseradish and hot peppers. Cover with organic apple cider vinegar and blend or food process. Store in glass jars in dark with wax paper under lids. Will get stronger with time but should be potent fresh. I just made a big batch and plan to put in my Christmas gifts. I'll give out sooner if needed of course. I plan to make the next recipe, too. Four Thieves Tonic: Take equal parts sage, thyme, peppermint, lemon balm (melissa), hyssop, lavender and a handful of garlic (may be sliced, minced, etc) and cover all with apple cider vinegar. I think oregano would be good to add, too. Store in glass jars in dark for 6-8 weeks, then strain out solids. Both these recipes seem to me that they would knock out about any nasty bug. The 2nd can be used a surface disinfectant, too. Might be good to have something like these on hand for whatever sicknesses may come around. These should be good for general colds and flu, etc as well. Christy
