Guest guest
I read your article with interest and concern. For much of my life I lived in Pennsylvania about 2 or 3 miles from a local farm. I was able to purchase fresh food all summer long. Corn in particular was spectacular. I moved to New Jersey three years ago and I had not tasted even good corn since moving here. Just two weeks ago I happened on a farmers market in a near by town and I was overjoyed to be able to purchase fresh picked produce and vegetables including corn. I had also been encouraged by my leaf tea supplier to offer iced tea at this type of venue to allow the community to become familiar with good quality organic leaf tea. If this becomes a grass roots movement I would want to sign your petition to allow the community the right to fresh farm products without the interference of government agencies who do not police big business even when tainted products are knowingly sold.
