Guest guest
Do you know what the homeopathic remedies are that your dentist gave you? In my younger years I use to have a sinus problem, a lot of nasal drip in my throat and nose. For some reason in my mid 30s my sinus problem disappeared. A long ago co-worker who has allergies and sinus problems told me her Yoga teacher gave her a remedy. I tried it out and it worked for me. Pour room temp. pure water in a glass add a 1/4 tsp. of sea salt. Take a spoonful, close one nostril and with the open nostril sniff the salt water up your nose. Then reverse the process and close the other nostril and sniff up the salt water. This clears the nose and throat passages. Diane In a message dated 8/20/2009 11:06:14 P.M. Guest guest
Several of you have asked about the homeopathic remedy. My dentist got it at a homeopathic conference and forgot what it was. There is a homeopathic manufacturer 90 minutes away and I plan to visit there. If they do not give me a recommendation, there is a pharmacist 60 minutes away who can help me...and orders from the manufacturer, Homeopathic Pharmacy in Berkeley Springs WV. This has become a serious problem because so many people I know are having such problems now. In my area, we had a cool spring followed my oppressive heat. I am surmising that this sudden shift in pressure had something to do with infections in the Washington DC area. My expertise is the psychological patterns of disease - but, in the past few years, I have been adding well researched remedies. So, you can see, this forum is an invaluable tool with information that I have passed onto others. The advice I have extracted from this forum has helped so many people..you cannot imagine. OK, so I always think about the psychological pattern. In thinking about myself, while the oppressive heat and atmospheric pressure is a culprit, the things I have to do lately have also been oppressive. The combination is obviously unhealthly. Yet, I have a friend with a sinus infection who retired and she is not doing much. But, for me, it was the weight of work...Lynn PS As soon as I discover a homeopathic remedy (and these really work for sinusitis), I will post this information. - Boonight Friday, August 21, 2009 9:32 AM Re: << >> Re: sinus infection Do you know what the homeopathic remedies are that your dentist gave you? Guest guest
I seem to be getting sinus infections lately also (when I am around hay especially) so maybe its more or an allergy? Jon - Will these suggestions possibly work as well? If so how do I take them? As pills? Tea? Thx Sent from my BlackBerry® wireless handheld " yburkett " <yburkett Fri, 21 Aug 2009 07:00:33 << >> Re: sinus infection Lynn, A sinus infection is a fungal infection. Doctor antibiotics are almost fungus-based, so they are likely to worsen the problem. What you need are natural antifungals, such as burdock root, pau d'arco, red clover, turmeric, red raspberry, barberry, elecampane and gingko. Fungus is attracted to heavy metals such as mercury, so you also need a heavy metal detox - take cilantro leaf (from the coriander plant) and chlorella to get rid of mercury. Also, take Lugol's iodine or Iodoral. John from Israel , " Lynn Koiner " <koiner wrote: > > After going to 2 dentists (one only does rott canals), they feel that I have a terrible sinus infection.
