Guest guest
Hi Ya'll, May I try to add some insight to this subject. First where do body acids come from, and how ? The stomach creates acids for the purpose of breaking down any Proteins, fiber and alkaline minerals, and reacting against these where by they then cause a release of energy for the body to use to have energy to function on. All refined and processed foods that we eat will break down in the stomach and cause a release of a much greater than normal amount of acids, than if one eats natural fresh whole fruits and vegetables. Meats also cause a higher level of acids to be in the body , than if one eats fresh fruits and vegetables. Refined carbohydrates and refined sugars, rapidly break down in the stomach and greatly increase the acid levels in the body, which in turn try to find something to neutralize these acids, which generally ends up being the bone structure of the person, begining with tooth decay and increasing to Decay of other bone structures of the persons body. The more Refined and Processed foods one eats, causes more acids to be created. So if one is willing to change their Diet to one of Natural fresh fruits and vegetables and green leafy vegetables and natural fresh nuts and dryed beans and whole grains, and a smaller amount of meats of the kinds which digest easier as was ment to eat, then one's body will not have a problem with too much acids!! OK so far. All refined and processed foods that we eat will break down in the stomach and cause a release of a much greater than normal amount of acids, than if one eats natural fresh whole fruits and vegetables. And after a short time the acidity of the stomach returns to normal - the nutrients are absorbed into the body. Meats also cause a higher level of acids to be in the body , than if one eats fresh fruits and vegetables. Not in the body - they may elevate - temporarily - the acidity of the stomach - but that returns to the normal - high level very quickly. You are using stomach and body as synonyms - the acid is confined to the stomach - it doesn't - in normal circumstances - leach or get absorbed by any other body parts. That's why only urine is affected - excess acid is excreted as waste in your urine - no other body parts are affected - not even the bloodstream. Tooth decay is caused by excess acid in the mouth - not in the stomach. Explain to me how vegetarians living in subsistence communities can have dental caries - by your argument - they have neutral PH - yet rotten teeth. Or why Eskimos - that live primarily on a diet of meet and fat - have low levels of dental caries? What precisely is this mechanism whereby calcium from bones is absorbed into the stomach to neutralize stomach acidity? The more Refined and Processed foods one eats, causes more acids to be created. Maybe so - but the stomach reverts quickly to it's normal level of acidity - it's a self-regulating mechanism. Actually, fresh fruits will initially increase the acidity of your stomach as the by-product of digestion produces sugar - which the body uses for energy. --- Bundy Good judgment is gained through experience.
